Cross Eyed Clyde

Cross Eyed Clyde is an innovative approach to synthesizing technology with the energy and emotion of a live band.

During the pandemic live music ceased. To satisfy my need to perform, I recorded myself on drums and bass, then played along on guitar. But, like so many other “music minus one” set ups, it felt (and sounded) like Karaoke, not a live band. So, I changed the set up; Put the drums through their own stereo sound system like a drummer with an electronic set and the bass through a bass amp just like a live bass player. The result was magic, like being on stage with a live band! All the raw energy and excitement was there.

Performing out required a second person to run the technology for a smooth, seamless show, so I enlisted Hannah, who also adds some keyboards and backing vocals.
